I Won’t Die provides health, longevity, wellness, fitness, nutrition, and performance-related news and educational content. I Won’t Die does not provide medical advice and is not a substitute for professional medical care.

Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Our general retention practices are as follows:

Account and profile information: Retained while your account remains active and until the account is deleted.
Comments and user-submitted content: Retained while published or associated with an active account, unless deleted earlier by you or through a verified deletion request.
Newsletter information: Retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. We may retain a limited suppression record after you unsubscribe so that we can continue honoring your opt-out request.
Support communications: Generally retained for up to 24 months after the request is resolved, unless longer retention is needed for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Usage and analytics information: Generally retained for up to 14 months, unless a shorter period is configured or longer retention is reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
Server, security, and diagnostic logs: Generally retained for up to 12 months.

You may request deletion of your I Won’t Die account and associated personal information.

Where an in-app deletion control is available, you may initiate the request through that control. You may also submit a deletion request by emailing [email protected] or [email protected] with the subject line:

Please include enough information for us to locate the relevant account or data. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request to prevent unauthorized deletion.

After verification, we will generally complete the deletion of information from active systems within 30 days. Associated account information and personal information will be permanently deleted or de-identified, except when limited retention is required for:

Legal or regulatory compliance
Fraud prevention or security
Enforcing agreements
Resolving disputes
Maintaining records of completed privacy requests
Information stored temporarily in secured backups

Backup copies may remain for up to 90 days and will not be restored to active use except when necessary for disaster recovery, security, or legal compliance.

Deleting the I Won’t Die application from your device does not automatically delete information previously submitted to us. You must use the deletion process described above.
